Juneathon 2015 – Day 11
- 4 mile hilly trail run followed by 4X 20 sec uphill sprints
The deer in Knole Park were my run buddies tonight.
I spent this afternoon in Knole Park watching a cross country race that my son was competing in. It was bitterly cold with occasional snow flurries, and the ground was thick with mud. There were several hundred competitors. The Great Knole run attracts many schools from across Kent, & London as well as some from further afield.
It was clear that, from first to last, all were giving it their best shot and most seemed to be relishing the conditions and the challenge; in that strangely masochistic manner that runners have.
