After some good miles at the weekend, a more gentle day was called for. I started the morning with a 10 minute core session and then after work joined up with Hadlow Running Group. Due to the injury situation, this was my 1st run with HRG for quite some time. There were just the 4 of us this evening and we put in a steady 3 miles, mostly off-road. It was a definite confidence boost to find that I could keep up with the group without getting out of my comfort zone.
This morning’s core session was 10 drills for 45 seconds each with 15 seconds in between to change position. The drills were:
Crunches with weight
Press ups
Side-Crunches left
Side-Crunches right
Mountain Climbers
Flutter Kicks
Jack Knives with weight
Squats with weight
Forward Lunges
Crazy Ivans with weight
i must remember to do day-2 of the Kinetic Revolution 30 day challenge before hitting the sack.
